A sleek new look and advanced features define Hyundai's latest all-electric platform compact SUV, the ELEXIO. The car has been introduced on stage with a design that promises comfort and practicality while catering to evolving user demands for modern electric vehicle designs.
Inside Out: Cutting-edge Design
The interior of the ELEXIO is fully redesigned to reflect Hyundai's dedication to innovative design principles, featuring crisp clean lines, contrasting deep tones, and excellent tactile qualities. The dashboard features a new single panel with an intuitive interface. The front-end, headgear, and LED lighting system contribute to its cohesive visual identity.
New multi-functional steering wheel in three-spoke configuration is fitted on side, complemented by the full-screen control unit combined digital instrument cluster, giving room for advanced data output as well. Storage capacity is high – 29 spaces have been found - along with features like slid tray box, a sleek glove compartment slide mechanism plus an adjustable tray bar.
Design cues are not limited to just visual elements.
For visibility, sleek aerodynamic front bumper has an enclosed shape and LED lights are shaped as stellar formations, while the backside follows the design pattern with the addition of LED cornering indicators. The hidden sliding door handles provide refined closure.
To capture advanced driver data, Hyundai Elexio is built on modern car modular electric platform (E-GMP). Car features a 27-inch HUD, based on latest AI technology.
Mechanical Features - Coming Early 2024
The all-electric compact SUV has undergone final tests with all necessary certifications, ready to kick off in September 2023. Production plans are still unclear but this first reveal highlights the unique capabilities of Hyundai Elexio to be expected when it rolls onto the roads.
Performance-wise, two motors are mounted from a manufacturer called Nidec and each motor is producing around 80 kW so total power is 160kW/220 HP.
A wide range of electrical systems come as standard equipment including 60 kWh maximum energy reserve.
