New Wuling EV Color Released for 2023 Model

A new vehicle color, "Xiaolan Purple", has been added to the Wuling D6 lineup. The updated model is now available in China with a total of six configurations and an official starting price range of RMB 9.98-13.98 thousand.

The exterior design of the D6 features a split-lamp cluster with LED daytime running lights on top and two sets of lamps underneath. The front end boasts two parallel lateral grills, creating a layered appearance. The new Xiaolan Purple color is achieved through the use of Wuling's "Shanglao" paint technology. The rear section includes a sleek design with integrated fog lamps and wing spoilers to enhance visibility.

Inside, the D6 is equipped with an 12.8-inch infotainment system display, a steering wheel with a double-rimmed base design, and multiple-function keys on both sides of the dashboard. Physical toggle switches are also located in the central passageway for easy access. Smartphone wireless charging plates can be found near the rear seats.

The interior features marbled micro-texture seat arrangements using comfortable breathable fabrics. Legroom on the rear is spacious at 928mm, and headroom measures 990mm. For convenience, the vehicle boasts a high-floor leg space that adds to its comfort quotient.

Dimensions of the updated D6 measure 4,792 x 1,828 x 1,496 mm (L x W x H) with an axle length of 2,750 mm. Behind the wheel is an all-electric powertrain built on top of Wuling's new CTB "super-battery" technology and the latest e-star electric motor architecture.

Wuling D6 configurations include a range of capabilities including an estimated maximum power output of up to 95kW from dual electric motors, with a guaranteed extended-distance travel feature, covering distances of 520km or more.
