Guanghui M9 SUV Unveiled in Milan, Promising Sophisticated AI Technologies and Advanced Safety Features
On May 22nd, the official website of Guanghui released official images and details of its latest mid-size SUV, the M9. The vehicle is set to make its global debut tonight at 20:30 in Milan, Italy.
According to previous reports, the M9 will be equipped with extensive driving assistance systems, a six-seat layout, and is expected to launch later this year. In addition, it has been positioned as Guanghui's "AI Technology Flagship SUV" within the brand, with its name conveying the concepts of "Master," "Mountain," and "Moment."
Exterior-wise, the M9 features a family-style design aesthetic with an enclosing front grille accompanied by a ring-shaped headlight group, creating a visually layered effect. The new vehicle will also be equipped with a LED dashboard, active dynamic grille shutters, as well as laser radar.
When viewed from the side of the body, the traditional car door handles accompany the frontal and rear lines, which give off an attractive muscularity while also adopting an appealing sense of fashion. In particular, it is expected that the interior headroom space display will be good due to its flat roofline. The rear part uses a unified ring-shaped LED lighting system in front of which aligns with the overall look-up aesthetic.
Meanwhile, there are pictures from Guanghui published recently, so this new model would likely have a full LCD instrument cluster mounted and embedded within the infotainment system as well as large display screens that extend across the dashboard or could sit above the passenger car. This makes for visual delight in addition to having more space available.
In terms of assistance driving features, Guanghui's M9 will utilize "Chen Ri Hao Smart Assistance" systems, with additional full-scene AI capabilities on top. As for its powertrain, the new vehicle is expected to launch a dedicated engine and be paired with new energy technologies like Geely’s New Energy Architecture – including the latest generation of the REE electric motor system.
