Leaked Images of Ideal's Second Pure Electric SUV, Ideal i6, Suggest September Release
A batch of leaked images has surfaced online revealing the design and features of Ideal's upcoming second pure electric SUV, dubbed Ideal i6. The vehicle is expected to be a five-seat SUV with plans for a launch in September.
The exterior design of the ideal i6 appears to bear similarities to that of its sibling, the ideal i8. Notable design elements include a front bumper with a more pronounced sloping angle and a smaller ATL all-weather laser radar on top of the hood. Two yellow lanterns are mounted alongside it, while the front lights cluster together and maintain the aerodynamic profile reminiscent of high-speed trains to minimize air resistance. The headlights are positioned within an enclosure for better air circulation.
When turning the corners, the ideal i6 appears longer due to its five-seat design and will have a lower roofline near the point where the side wall meets the windshield at column C. It still retains a large wheelbase and features low-drag wheels designed for improved aerodynamics. When it comes to trunk area, Ideal i6 uses a transverse tail lamp style that echoes the ideal i8 with hints of an RV style while maintaining these same shapes.
Inside, styling is expected to follow its brand aesthetic, characterized by a dual-slit screen display design.
Details regarding powertrain configurations for the Ideal i6 remain under wraps as of publication but are likely in line with its relative sibling. Its driving capabilities are believed to feature an all-wheel-drive system for enhanced stability. For reference, it is predicted that the front and rear electric motors will each boast a peak output of 150kW and 250kW respectively and come equipped with a high-capacity five-cell lithium-ion rechargeable battery package.
Further information on Ideal i6's full specifications shall be reported in due course.
