New Details on the Lynk & Co GV90 Leak: Design and Technical Specs Revealed
A new set of images from a testing vehicle has offered a glimpse into the design of the Lynk & Co GV90, with some hints about its expected powertrain and technical specifications. The leaked images show the car in an unmasked state, clad only in decorative stickers rather than a full cover.
The latest images suggest that the production variant is already undergoing development at testing grounds around New York. It is expected to showcase itself for a proper launch at the upcoming 2026 Auto Expo. Due to the delay with its original test milestones and timelines set for release this year, Lynk & Co GV90 will now officially start mass production from June of next year.
Design-wise, some elements seem very similar to the newly released Neolun concept by the manufacturer. The front section retains a dual-slot headlight arrangement reminiscent of Neolun's but is more refined in shape. Interestingly, despite retaining these double headlights along with an enhanced grille design it will certainly differentiate its appearance through better interior finish options.
On side views of both cars, there's minimal visual distinction made between them due to some of the aesthetic elements being kept under wraps in real-world testing situations. Nevertheless, overall style maintains that Neolun feels far more mature; perhaps this could be a reflection of how some final pieces of technology need refining further before the official release.
From behind, a similar dual slotheadlight signature can still very aptly define it both concept cars from Lynk & Co. The newly discovered rear spoiler is also set to increase ground clearance slightly by incorporating air dams underneath.
Moving over toward interior details, new spyshots display an interior which bears no resemblance at all with previous designs for this vehicle - wider middle console is prominent due to some design elements being incorporated in a slightly different way in the production unit of GV90.
It seems more possible that GV90 may start from a base model lineup rather than launch at various trim level configurations seen on most modern SUV’s.
The powertrain is thought to come from an 113kWh battery pack with expected range exceeding 800 kilometers on a sole charge. There's also speculation over how Lynk & Co will implement adaptive air suspension technology into the overall vehicle dynamics.
The image suggests that the production unit could actually be for four-seat variants only (as opposed to its proposed three-seat configurations) and has a rather aggressive stance despite giving off some somewhat polarizing SUV design cues which appear pretty much set to polarize their target audience - if indeed the exterior gets that particular polarizing style.
