Unveiling Redefining Mobile: Xiaomi Yu 7 Design Breakdown Uncovered, Reveal Expected May 22nd Launch Date

Xiaomi YU7 Officially Unveils Interior Design, Key Features Announced Ahead of May 22nd Launch

Xiaomi has officially released the interior design of its upcoming Xiaomi YU7 car, ahead of its launch scheduled for May 22nd. The car is set to go on sale between June and July this year, with a price tag estimated to be within 30-40 thousand yuan.

The interior design makes significant changes compared to the existing small-sized vehicle, Xiaomi SU7. The dashboard features an overarching design, equipped with a floating-type rear center screen, likely to be powered by the Xiaomi CloutOS car machine system. Notably, a new-generation Mi HyperVision display is integrated below the air vents, promising a more intuitive interactive visual experience.

Interestingly, the instrument cluster has been eliminated altogether, while the direction wheel has undergone significant changes in terms of its elliptical shape and functionality. Its multi-functional button has transitioned to be controlled using the steering wheel circle.

In previous reports, Xiaomi YU7 offered an avant-garde futuristic design characteristic to their automobile family. The front double headlights boast a hollow design that exudes forward-looking momentum. In terms of dimensions, the car measures at 4999mm in length, 1996mm in width, and 1600mm in height for overall body dimensions, while having an axiomatic distance of 3000mm and occupying space as mid-L/SUV model.

Concerning its propulsion system, Xiaomi YU7 is equipped with a purely electrical drive, boasting maximum power of the following: front-wheel drive mode reaches up to 760 km; rear-wheel drive or all-wheel-drive versions have an estimated range of around 677-870 km. Meanwhile, its mass exceeds 2.4 tons due to battery capacity at a substantial 96.3k Wh.

For dynamic configurations available on YU7 models, either the double electric motor four driving mode of twin-electric motor modes (standard-wheel), also offering single and/or dual-motor driving possibilities depending upon preferences are offered. Within these setups is placed an electric front-wheel drive unit, combining in different capacities; 220kW-235kW respectively with each individual wheel having unique maximum power output, while providing three major variations to cater towards diverse needs of drivers - from the standard single motor with maximum at 235 and reaching a max velocity of 240km/h coupled with Li-Ferro alloy battery for weight-reduction purposes.

Next up will be further updates on YU7 models like different shades possible by the date of launch, expected in late may.
