China's Next Super Cruiser: $22300 Opening Price Set for 1000+ Mile-Boosting Mountain-Hi4-T

Longchamp Hi4-T to Launch on June 23rd

The official release date for the Longchamp Hi4-T, a newly launched vehicle model from the brand, is scheduled for June 23rd. Prior to its formal launch, the Longchamp Hi4-T made its public debut at the Shanghai auto show, where two variants were showcased with an initial price range of approximately CNY 22.88-24.98 thousand.

Key features associated with this new model are primarily centered around its powertrain. The vehicle boasts a unique combination of a 2.0T engine paired with a 9-speed automated transmission and a P2 front-placed electric motor system, dubbed the Hybrid Assist Technology (HAT)-all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

Visually, variations observed include:

  • A distinct design on the forepart that presents an off-road aesthetic through the shape of both the lower and upper front air dams. This enables a wider angle for splash-in water entry.
  • An enhanced performance-oriented profile. AT tires support this capability by boosting their ground clearance along with improved traction during rugged terrain excursions.
  • Exterior design additions such as blacked-out grilles for better airflow efficiency, while maintaining visual appeal through the prominent placement of the Longchamp logo.

Features present in its interior mirror its heritage from older Longchamp variants. Both display a clear similarity to its preceding models in terms of their functional appearance with a similar arrangement of components such as:

  • Analog dials complement modern LCD panels.
  • Many physical buttons around or behind screen interfaces for ease and control over standard features.

Dynamic aspects center on the integration of both conventional and hybrid propulsive systems. Here's how they perform:

Performance Specifications

  • Hybrid system combining 2.0T engine + nine speed automated gearbox + precharged electric motor with high torque output
  • Power: total of 300 kW
  • Acceleration time from 0-100km/h: 7.2 seconds flat.
  • Range in terms of pure electric mileage under NEDC criteria up to approximately 115 kilometers.
  • Hybrid operation extended reach on overall driving performance, including NEDC's more inclusive standards that cover longer ranges, all thanks to a larger and higher-powered battery.
  • Support for multiple advanced traction and control modes (including four wheel drive (4WD), two-wheel drive (2H+4L), AWD).
