Porsche Unveils Electric Cayenne Interior, Preview of Upcoming Pure-Electric Model
Porsche has released a series of exclusive images showcasing the interior of its upcoming pure-electric Cayenne, highlighting cutting-edge technology and luxurious features.
The electric Cayenne boasts an impressive array of screens, including a curved liquid crystal instrument panel, a ring-shaped display extending from the center console to the passenger-side dashboard air vent. A small touchscreen screen is positioned between the real-metal keys on the steering wheel, offering users a more immersive digital experience.
Reference is made to Porsche's plans to launch its battery-electric Cayenne model later this year, with deliveries expected in 2026. The upcoming car will be built on Audi's high-end pure-electric PPE platform and will feature an 800-volt architecture capable of supporting batteries with capacities exceeding 100 degrees. The electric Macan is seen sharing the same powertrain, boasting a battery pack with a capacity of approximately 95 degrees.

For the cockpit area, Porsche is using advanced digital displays. The curved instrument panel dominates the space, its dimensions expected to rank among top contenders in this segment.
The screen extends from the middle console towards the passenger door and below it, features a smaller media display with the original design elements preserved. On both sides of the center console, users have the opportunity to customize their driving experience by selecting from several pre-programmed settings based on a unique combination of buttons and sliders: this is Porsche Configurable Driver Profile.
There are also two physical start/stop switches in addition to this digital interface on each side.
The main screen comes with multiple display modes: driver (with essential data), passenger (with navigation as well map-related info) or fully configurable according to personal preference – making way for advanced displays, customizable dashboards and real-time feedback systems.
Rounding off the interior design, a sophisticated stopwatch inspired timepiece adorns the dashboard. An elegantly designed 360 degree instrument ring offers further insight into performance data. This makes use of an integrated display system which dynamically updates all data during driving.
The exterior design shares many commonalities with the conventional Cayenne model but is not to be missed due to unique styling elements such as the pseudo-leather "trim" elements and decorative mesh, that hint at a sportily focused approach while still delivering practicality for family use.
In contrast to its conventional counterpart, this version of Porsche Macan utilizes an electric motor to generate up to 375 horsepower with power coming from rechargeable electric batteries containing an average net capacity of 95 kilowatt hours.
