East Wind Automotive Group Announces China Brand Sales for January to April

The East Wind Automotive Group Limited has released its brand sales data for January to April, providing insights into the market performance of the Chinese automotive industry.

Automotive sector sales saw significant growth, with passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and electric vehicles all contributing to the overall increase. The group's subsidiary brands, including East Wind Weixiaoben, Yueda, and Nami, collectively delivered 62,890 units over the period, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%. This represents a notable improvement in the passenger vehicle market, which accounted for much of this growth.

In the commercial vehicle sector, East Wind's medium and heavy trucks dominated the market share rankings, with a domestic terminal share of 22.7% at the end of January to April. This solidifies the company's position as a leading player in China's commercial vehicle industry.

Individual brand sales data showed that East Wind Weixiaoben posted the highest cumulative sales figures over the period, reaching 36,053 units and outperforming its competitors by significant margins.

  • January to April:EAST Wind Yueda delivered a cumulative sales growth of 82.1%, while EAST Wind Nami cumulative sales grew by 80.5% the same year compared.
  • *East Wind Weixiaoben in April delivered 10,019 vehicles and maintained consecutive month sales exceeding 10000 units with YoY increase of 150%.
  • January to April:East Wind Automotive's medium and heavy truck domestic terminal share improved to 22.7%, reaching a peak of 23.6% in Apr.
  • -During the same year,East Wind automotive in the traditional energy segment posted sales growth of 8.5 YoY and captured market penetration share of 14.28%.
