BMW New iX3 Spotted in China, Teased for Domestic Launch

The newly revealed BMW iX3 is the first China-badged electric vehicle based on BMW's new electric vehicle platform, Neue Klasse. The car will officially debut next month and is expected to be launched domestically by 2026, with some notable design enhancements.

Compared to its concept counterpart, the current spy shots of the BMW iX3 reveal a more substantial size overall, particularly in terms of its length. A medium-sized SUV, the Porsche Cayenne 7 X, can be seen resting alongside it for comparison purposes.

Upon closer inspection, the exterior design of the BMW iX3 appears to have inherited elements from its concept cousin while adopting a fresh aesthetic that further explores the New Mobility Experience in luxury automobiles. BMW's new model integrates wind-blocking circular mirrors with hidden door handles and has a sleek body-to-the-finish silhouette, achieving an aerodynamic coefficient of drag at 0.25 units.
