Leaping Forward: FX Brand Unveiled by Jay Jay Peng with Three New Models

The wait is finally over for car enthusiasts, as FX, the new brand launched by Chinese entrepreneur Jay Jay Peng in 2017, has been revamped and updated with three exciting new models. At a press event held on January 9th, 2025, two of these cars were showcased, along with the unveiling of the brand's logo.

The FX LOGO is an interpretation of the division between FF and FX brands, blending elements of modernity with nods to traditional Chinese design. An emblem in the center, featuring a stylized 'F' and 'X', flanked by geometric blocks signifying partnerships, indicates the co-creation approach behind the new brand.

The first car from FX is the AI-powered MPV named Super One, designed to embody space, comfort, luxury, artificial intelligence, and internet applications. Targeting Asia's top business leaders, celebrities, and affluent households as its ideal customers, the FX Super One promises to set a high standard in the Asian driving market.

Exhibited at the event was a partially detailed prototype of the FX Super One, boasting streamlined front-end profiles, angular A-pillars with distinct angles, a large light-ray indicator, and impressive dash instrumentation. With seating for an estimated six occupants and prominent center console in three rows of independent seats, initial observations suggest an extended space within a more imposing overall structure.

In contrast, the FX 6 follows in some lines from Super One's face-forward design, incorporating technology such as radar technology but offers dimensions slightly beyond those of its predecessor. The brand is keenly pursuing high value proposition and becoming key player in an era transforming toward eco-car solutions.

Next steps include thorough testing preparations to unveil more developments on the FX 6 portfolio before Super one's second quarter debut.
