Audi Introduces Q6L e-tron and Q6L e-tron Sportback with Localized Upgrades
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has unveiled images of the audi Q6L e-tron and Q6L e-tron Sportback, showcasing their new platforms, architectures, and localizations tailored for the Chinese market.
Overview
Based on Audi's new PPE (Modularer Reihen- und Platform-Entwicklungs)-based platform, the Q6L e-tron and Q6L e-tron Sportback will feature an 800V architecture, combined with Audi's all-new E3 1.2 electric drive system that has been optimized for the Chinese market.
Design
Q6L e-tron
The previously unveiled Q6L e-tron features a consistent exterior design with a more dynamic appearance compared to its international counterpart. The sportier exterior design is prominent on this model, and it can be seen in:
- Full-LED Day-Time Running Lights (DRLs) A digital display of the headlights' patterns
- An LED taillight bar that lights automatically
- Turn signals hidden within a matrix-style LED cluster system with radar, cameras, etc.
- Headlights embedded into a sleek side grill
The Q6L e-tron Sportback has a slightly different design on its side panels as follows:
The entire side panel is black-pitched, unlike the Q6L e-tron features sporty trims and Audi logos
* Rear LED taillights have been replaced with a high-tech appearance
