Ideal Motors Unveils Plan for Smart AI Talk and L Series Smart Renew Version

Ideal Motors has released the details of its second iteration of Smart AI talk which is set to take place on May 7. Following this event, ideal smart L series will be launched at a press conference held on May 8.

Since last year’s AI Talk, Ideal Motors announced that it was looking forward to developing Artificial Intelligence even more in its future projects and planned to achieve this through three stages with titles '增强我的能力', '成为我的助手' and '是我的硅基家人'. The plan includes achieving the third stage "is my silicon family" within his lifespan.

At auto shows, Ideal L6 Smart Renew version had announced a starting price. A preorder for two car models were open, with a fixed price equal to that of the current model at 24.98万元 and 27.98 Thousand. On May 8th, an official sale will begin, followed by other variants on June first.

Ideal smart L7, L8, L9 had announced their renew versions beforehand through submission photos which were made public, similar with other car models' renewal announcement time.

During its launch, Idealsmart L6 has adopted a smaller size of new laser radar and equipped with gold decorations and an all-new wheel style. Technically, it's upgraded on AD Max from 双Orin-X chip to the latest thor-U chip, which provides better capabilities for driving using vision language model, dynamic model, and scene knowledge.

On the other hand, Idealsmart AD Pro now uses a geospatial J5 chip but is to be updated to geospatial J6M chip during official sales; also there will be upgrade of its active safety functions to match that of AD Max's version.

In power aspect, both the smart renewal version and present model have identical electric vehicle characteristics. In L4 cars respectively equipped with 1.5T turbocharged gasoline engine which produce 300 horsepower for ideal L6 and over 330 horsepower at a single instance for ideal L7, L8 & L9 models.

*Total Driving Range For all the three, ideal A6 has an electric driving range of 212km. In contrast to its previous versions, model of car that is pure electric model will now have driving ranges as follows: for ideal A7 - 225km + 286km at CLTC; with ideal A8 – 225km+280km for both charging options and ideal L9 version finally having an electric running range of 280km.
