Ideal Motors Preempts Xiaomi Release Date to Avoid Synchronization
Ideal Motors, the car manufacturer, has decided to shift its release date for the ideal i8 model to February 25th to avoid any overlap with a planned launch event scheduled for Xiaomi on the same day.
According to news reported by Car House, as originally slated for February 27th, ideal Motors' Ideal Motors president Li decided to bring this forward to show gratitude to his counterparts at Xiaomi, stating that his party did not want their events to collide. A message from Li has been sent out expressing appreciation to his associates in order to avoid any mistaken perceptions and to be one step ahead of the competition.
The Ideal i8 will feature a mid-sized sports utility vehicle design. Its style is quite close to previous ideal MEGA products but some unique elements such as the frontal air intakes that include daytime running lights below, have been incorporated into its front fascia. The two large side mirrors are both equipped with ventilation openings, along with side markers and dual LED headlights.
The back appearance bears a resemblance to those found on Ideal L9, featuring flush type trunk lamps. Both electric motors can drive all four wheels simultaneously via an all-wheel-drive system. They power the car up to 400 kilowatts combined with the 102.7 kwh battery pack.
