New Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake Teased with Spy Photos
Mercedes-Benz has gotten its hands on the spy photos of a new CLA Shooting Brake model, which is expected to debut at the upcoming Munich Auto Show in September and hit the market by the end of 2025 or early 2026. The newcomer will be accompanied by an all-electric variant featuring an 800V architecture.
In addition, there are plans for the electrification of other Mercedes-Benz models under the MMA platform, including the new GLA, GLB, and the smaller "G-Class."
Design
The exterior design is mostly similar to the previous CLA Shooting Brake model, with noticeable differences on the front half. The side profiles show a sleek and refined appearance, while maintaining a sporty profile despite its compact dimensions. Rearview mirrors sit slightly below the rear window line to reduce wind resistance.
Interior and Features
While details are scarce, we can spot distinctive elements found on the CLA saloon model, such as the iconic three-star LED daytime running lights arranged in an equilateral triangle configuration around the headlights.
Powertrain
Power delivery is expected to include multiple ranges: a hybrid plug-in-hybrid version; lighter power units.
