Exclusive First Look: Get Ready for the New Volvo XC40 Cross Country

Volkswagen Unveils the All-New Volkswagen ID.4 Cross Country, with Plans to Enter Market Soon

On July 7th, Volkswagen provided an update on its newest Small SUV - the ID.4 Cross Country. Following earlier reports, the company has now confirmed that it is completing the necessary procedures to enter mass production.

The new model represents a ruggedized version of the well-establish Volkswagen ID.4 crossover and marks an extension of the original model's capabilities in the field of off-grid exploration.

Officially-released images show the vehicle featuring modern family sedan design cues, along with notable enhancement on finer details - both contributing to an increased distinctiveness. The measurements for the new car are 4233x1850x1573mm and has a wheelbase of 2650mm.

A closer look at the car's side profile shows that a black protective shield has been added beneath the front fender, paired with exclusive five-spoke alloy wheels giving off an appealing sense of style. The rear ride height is elevated compared to the standard model; and it would likely contribute significantly to its performance capabilities.

Further details highlighted in images point towards more sophisticated outdoor gear - intended for expansion from Volkswagen's range. Furthermore, information has confirmed that modifications were made to this new ID.4 Cross Country, where improvements were recorded on suspension system. This includes a boost in rebound stiffness and dampening coefficient — better suited for non-road surfaces.

Finally images have included C-shaped headlights, along with black accents at the rear - both of these reflecting its off-road style.

We must confess that the car's enhanced outdoor features, especially if combined with new upgraded interior equipment might allow a wider interpretation on how adventurous it may become.
