2026 New Zele Plus Gets Officially Unveiled with Minor Design Tweaks

The 2026 new generation of the Zele Plus has officially arrived, rolling off the production lines and making its way to showrooms. While the design has seen only minor tweaks compared to the outgoing model year, under the hood, the updated car boasts refined upgrades in terms of layout, battery ranges, and features.

Based on the ZLE architecture developed by Geely's own Ge Technology platform, the new Zele Plus is primarily a revised model targeting the expansion of lineup options and range variations. The revised model mainly includes changes in configuration, new electric-battery variants were introduced while maintaining the existing 401km endurance version of the car.

The exterior remains largely unchanged from its predecessor. It holds onto traditional design elements such as an integrated front light cluster that includes hood-mounted fog lights, side skirting which features wheel well tracings for better outdoor appearance. The new Zele Plus retains a robust overall stance with unique coloring separating it from the rest of the family on top.

While maintaining the core silhouette familiar from the previous generation, the updated car arrives in fresh style by adding contrasting top and bottom hues on the roofline or with the side skirt to break up the monotony and emphasize its distinctiveness more so than before. On the wheel front, 16-inch units make an appearance while supporting a wide front/side winglets giving a good grip.

Inside, there has been significant updates in a bid to elevate customer satisfaction across new features like improved cockpit and connectivity options on a new center screen, larger multicolor controls at the center for wider user choice including high refresh rate of up-to 120HZ, better audio with new supporting head-up display functions that support more user-centric experiences.

For cabin layout users also enjoyed an upgraded seating configuration from four to five occupants as a new member joined the car which is equipped 5.1 surround sound system while providing enhanced interior quietness due to refined noise-reduction procedures that set this model apart.

Power in this new generation features over-the front axle motor at lower power yet higher torque (in terms of wheel turn or gear), coupled with range-expension batteries, making the three variants: Low-Voltage 32 kwh battery (301 km), Mid-range-42 kh Battery range (401km) & High Range -54 kho battery configuration with the largest 501-km endurance mark.

Overall it seems a fine upgrade that should keep Zele Plus users delighted ahead.
