Reveal of New Jeep Model Unveiled on the Internet
A set of alleged images of a new, unannounced Jeep model has surfaced online, showcasing the vehicle's exterior design and features.
According to reports, the new SUV is expected to be launched in 2025, marking its entry into the compact SUV segment. The car will employ hybrid powertrains, comprising pure electricity or light-hybrid/mild-hybrid configurations.
The exterior design of the new model appears largely faithful to Jeep's signature elements, including a distinctive seven-slot grille that has been closed up to serve as a decorative feature. Above the grille is arranged a series of seven LED lights, with dual headlights located on either side for improved visibility and lighting capabilities.
A notable feature expected to contribute to reduced drag is the potential implementation of an active air intake system, allowing the flow of air in and out without affecting vehicle operation. The rear design shows a continuation of Jeep's styling lines, featuring LED-lit taillights that run horizontally across the back of the vehicle. Side profiles indicate enhanced ground clearance combined with higher ride heights.
Interior amenities include a larger-than-usual touchscreen display setup coupled with grays-and-black color palette accents throughout. Additional features expected to be included are panoramic glass roofs, heads-up display units, and driver controls structured as rotary gearshifting devices.
The drivetrain will utilize the same STLA Medium platform found in the Citroen e-3008, offering a range of configurations for both pure electric or light-hybrid/ plug-in hybrid variants. Although specifics have not been confirmed, references provided during the launch cycle point toward potential dual-electric motor setups with output up to 325 horsepower and battery pack capacities ranging between 73 kWh and 97 kWh.
