Small Penguin's MONA M03 Max Model to Debut on May 28th
Small Penguin's latest model, the MONA M03 Max, will be launched on May 28th. The new car comes in two trim levels: the 502 Long-Range Max and the 600 Ultra-Long-Range Max. The latter has an updated version of its predecessor, the 580 Ultra-Long-Range Max.
The top-of-the-line MONA M03 Max is notable for its advanced driving assistance system, featuring multiple cameras, millimeter wave radar sensors, and a dual-camera front display system with two cameras. It also boasts high-performance hardware like dual Orin chipsets from Intel and the ability to operate in both urban and highway environments. This allows drivers to use features such as distant summoning and automatic parking.
In terms of design, three new exterior colors will be added: Azure Midnight, Moonlight Grey, and Starry Night Blue. Also new are two sets of wheels (18-inch 19-inch). Additionally, the front view mirror area now includes an AI-powered assist system called "AI Small Blue".
The interior features a new color option of Turquoise Dawn, which is part of the Azure Midnight family.
Key Technical Specifications
The electric compact sedan, known as MONA M03, is highly regarded for its low drag coefficient (0.194). The 502 Long-Range model comes with key additional features such as e-motion door opening, panoramic view, gesture control and full-digital OTA functionality throughout the car.
The drivetrain consists of a single permanent magnet synchronous AC induction motor coupled with a lithium-ion battery from BYD, capable of producing 160 kW. While not ideal for power delivery, this still makes up for high torque output at 250 N·m.
