Avita Electric Vehicle Model Range Gets Over-the-Air (OTA) Upgrade Beginning July 3rd

BEIJING, CHINA - July 3, 2023 — Avita, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced that it will be rolling out an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade for its entire model range starting from today. The update is primarily aimed at improving safety and convenience features.

The new features that will be rolled out include collision pre-resolution unlocking, emergency steering assist, in-car mobile app customization, camping mode, smart scenes, wireless charging points with Huawei Pay, and advanced navigation through the Guangzhou Mapping App sending information directly to the vehicle's computer. Additionally, users of the Intelligent Navigation Assistant for Driving (NCA) can take advantage of enhanced features such as lane guidance at high-speed toll gates.

Avita offers four models: Avita 06, Avita 07, Avita 11, and Avita 12. The upgrade will be pushed through in real-time and will follow the regulatory approval timeline without any planned stages or batches.
