GAC GAUJI Launches New Electric Mini SUV Model, 'Mini Spirit Bear'

A series of new images showcasing the electric mini SUV model, nicknamed "Mini Spirit Bear," was recently released by GAC. The car is positioned as a compact vehicle with all-electric powertrains and boasts an entirely new exterior design that is set to go on sale starting April 15.

The exterior features the brand's new 'bear cub' style, with the front of the car adorned with continuous black trim strips, surrounded by elliptical-shaped splash guards and equipped with circular big headlights. The model comes in a range of four paint hues: Wufu Red, Tiandi Blue, Huaqi White, and others.

The interior has underwent significant updates, including improvements to the passenger side storage compartment design and the addition of an extra smartphone charging interface compared to the previous generation. Configurational upgrades include features like hill start assist, reversing camera, rear parking distance monitoring, as well as the optional ESP Vehicle Stability Control system.

Users will be able to use their mobile app to remotely lock and unlock the trunk door, adjust the temperature, and other functions, and can also pair their smartphone with the car's infotainment system. A voice assistant is activated by saying "Hi, GAC," enabling common commands without having to say it out loud.

The electric powertrain is expected to perform at a similar level to the previous generation model, but will have an improved range of 210 kilometers on a single charge, accompanied by additional fast and slow charging capabilities as well as no-sense starting technologies.
