MAZDA EZ-6 Motor Edition Unveiled at the 2025 Qingdao Auto Expo
The 2025 Qingdao Auto Expo officially kicked off on June 7, and Mazda's brand-new middle-class sedan, Mazda EZ-6 Motor Edition, made its global debut. The car is a special edition of the existing Elegant (Chinese: 增程) and Emperor (Chinese: 智尊) variants, with the added value of enhanced performance and features.
The Mazda EZ-6 Motor Edition comes in four trim levels, priced between CNY 16.18 million and CNY 18.18 million (approximately USD 2.23 million to USD 2.64 million).

The new sedan draws inspiration from Mazda's family-oriented design philosophy, "Mazda Kinetic Design." The electric version flaunts a closed front grille, while the non-electric variant features an open front grille with integrated headlights.
Notably, the car boasts a signature "Light Wings" LED light arrangement above the front grille, along with the iconic Mazda sign that pulsates softly. The rear section sports sleek headlamps with a separate taillight module, accompanied by dynamic side sills shaped like feathers.
From a size perspective, the new sedan measures 4921-1890x1485-2907 mm in length-width-height, respectively.
Inside, the cabin boasts an impressive array of features, including:

The new sedan features two powertrains: a hybrid version with 1.5L supercharged engine outputting up to 70 kW and electric-only model that can accelerate to 190 kW at its peak output, depending on chosen trim variants, it offers:

- Total mileage of up to 130 miles or over 2000 km
