Baojun Cloud Sea Special Edition Launched, "Design Us, Manufacture It" Contest Held
Beijing, June 27, 2025 - Baojun Automobile has announced the launch of its new Baojun Cloud Sea special edition. The car is based on the Wey architecture and offers both plug-in hybrid and pure electric powertrains.
The special edition features a sleek and modern design with a focus on youthfulness. The front grille is flanked by a distinctive triangular headlight duo, giving the car a bold and sporty appearance. However, the plug-in hybrid version boasts a larger front grille with a horizontal style, which sets it apart from the pure electric model.
The Baojun Cloud Sea runs on the Ling OS system and features advanced driver assistance technologies such as the "Ling Yi" smart driving 2.0. The system combines dual camera systems, ordinary cameras, and 12 ultra-sonic radar sensors to provide a comprehensive visual solution for safe and efficient driving.
The interior design is minimalist and modern, with a focus on simplicity and elegance. The instrument cluster is characterized by two capacitive touch screens, providing users with an intuitive and engaging experience. Notable features include mobile phone charging trays and optional seat heating and ventilation for the front seats.
The Baojun Cloud Sea comes in two powertrains: plug-in hybrid (1.5L + 1 electric motor) and pure electric (single front permanent magnet motor). The hybrid model offers a 106 horsepower engine, while the electric version provides 204 horsepower and a range of up to 600 kilometers under CLTC driving conditions. Both models feature advanced battery technology and enable extended use in outdoor settings.
