BMW Unveils Immersive Car Audio System HypersonX

The BMW Group has launched its hypersonic immersive car audio system, developed by the company's in-house sound design studio. This cutting-edge system, named HypersonX, utilizes a large dataset of over 900 million acoustic samples and advanced algorithms to capture and preserve the unique voice profiles of BMW vehicles for new generations of cars.

According to insiders, the BMW new generation of cars is expected to debut in the 2025 third quarter (previously planned for September's Frankfurt Motor Show). The HypersonX immersive audio system will be launched along with the new car lineup at that time.

Developed by BMW Group sound design studio from the ground up – from low-level acoustic algorithms to advanced control systems – this system leverages BMW's proprietary technology platform.
