BYD Seagull 07DM-i Intelligent Version Priced from 250,000 CNY, Boasting Fifth-Generation DM Technology and Advanced Safety Features

BEIJING, CHINA - April 14, 2024 - BYD (Build Your Dreams), the Chinese automaker, has confirmed that its latest model, the Seagull 07DM-i Intelligent Version, has begun to roll out in showrooms nationwide. The vehicle is expected to be priced starting from 250,000 CNY.

Design-wise, the Seagull 07DM-i Intelligent Version employs a novel "Oceanic Aesthetic" design concept, which is characterized by an e-type front big lamp set and a linked lower lamp strip connecting to the front. The rear section also features a streamlined design with LED lamps arranged in a series of decreasing brightness gradations along the entire width, giving it a distinctive aerodynamic feel. In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle measures 4880x1920x1750mm and boasts an overall wheelbase of 2820mm.

Inside, the Seagull 07DM-i Intelligent Version features an all-new "Oceanic Aesthetic" interior design scheme, which includes a symmetrical instrument panel called the "Ice World Instrument Panel." This new setup incorporates black trim elements throughout the dashboard and houses a 10.25-inch full-lattice LCD display that matches up with a floating 15.6-inch screen to create an appealing visual display.

The vehicle is equipped with a range of features, including dual-zone air conditioning controlling temperatures ranging from -6°C to 50°C by dual zone in the trunk area, and seat ventilation or heating for both front and rear seats. Its intelligent system includes intelligent driving technologies, such as urban guiding capabilities and autonomous navigation, offering advanced safety solutions. This vehicle's special feature is that it comes equipped with DeepSeek, an AI universal voice assistant.

Additionally, this new version features a full range of BYD's sky-eye systems, including "Sky Eye" B and C intelligent driver assistance solutions to enhance driving experience, smart car-to-X technologies for safe autonomous navigating, and intelligent AI assistance technology by DiLink 100 system. Moreover, users can customize their smart cabins with user name logins through official account platforms.

In powertrain terms, the Seagull 07DM-i Intelligent Version is powered by a new fifth-generation DM drive designed to integrate the company's hybrid strategy for improved performance, utilizing an optimized engine range of 150kW and front-axle propulsion driven electric motor capacity up to 200kW. In general condition fuel-economy, the vehicle achieves a low rating at just 4.7 liters over 100 kilometers under both NEDC or WLTP criteria.

Safety-wise, BYD Seagull 07DM-I includes advanced technological equipment such as cloud-based and dynamic shock control (cloud-abd) technologies for a safer driving experience in different situations.
