New Peugeot G7 Electric SUV Launches on June 11th
Chinese automaker Peugeot has confirmed its latest electric vehicle, the Peugeot G7, will launch on June 11th with an official reveal. The car is positioned as a mid-size pure-electric SUV, priced around 25,000 yuan (approximately USD $3,900), with deliveries expected in the third quarter.
Design and Features
According to Peugeot's chairman, Louis-Paul Dastan, the G7 will focus on intelligent features and spacious interior design. Upon closer inspection, the exterior design echoes that of its sibling, the Peugeot P7+. The front grilles are complemented by a horizontal LED light band, with sleek headlamps that integrate daytime running lights into the design.
Further down, wide air intakes enhance the front-end's aggressive stance. Side-on view reveals a retractable door handle and sporty-looking wheel designs that pay homage to Peugeot’s rich heritage.
In the rear, an imposing trapezoidal LED pattern gives this car some serious presence, with the overall effect creating visual hierarchy through carefully laid design elements.
