Meet Electra: Chevrolet's Flagship High-End Electric Cruiser Unveiled

New Energy Brand Elevatra Unveiled by Baojun: First Pre-Launch Images Released

At a press conference held on July 9, Baojun unveiled the first pre-launch images of its new energy brand, Elevatra. The upcoming luxury electric vehicle (EV) is said to be built on the Roewe Xia Xiahu structure and will collaborate closely with domestic technology companies such as Momenta.

According to official releases, the Elevatra will come equipped with L2++ full-scene high-grade intelligent driving assistance and smart cabin features. Its aggressive design will draw inspiration from the Rong Guang concept car showcased earlier this year.

The pre-launch images show a sleek profile with prominent front grille, slimmer headlights, and side mirror caps adorned in contrasting colors. A charging port mounted under the rear wheel arch adds to the overall modern appeal of the vehicle's design.

Other notable features include sliding door handles for enhanced aerodynamics and accents that contribute to an air of refinement on the exterior.

While not much information has been disclosed yet about the Elevatra, Baojun has already shared details about its parent company, Geely Baojun. In April this year, Baojun's parent company made headlines with the official launch of a new energy brand under the brand "Hengda".

The arrival of Elevatra not only expands Baojun's portfolio but also further emphasizes the company's efforts to develop cutting-edge electric vehicles tailored to satisfy consumer demand. Over the next 12 months, Baojun announced plans to release six vehicles built on its new super-large integration framework.

Regarding future models from Geely Baojun, it has been confirmed that starting in 2025, the brand will focus exclusively on electrified vehicle offerings for Chinese-based models.
