Exclusive first look at the Hongmon Hongtian S800: A Flagship of Luxury and Innovation

At the 2025 Guangzhou-Pearl City Hong Kong Motor Show, the debut of the Hongmon Hongtian S800 marked an exciting milestone for the brand. As the first flagship sedan from the Hongtian subsidiary, this behemoth of luxury offers an unparalleled driving experience.

The new car is available in four variants with a price range of RM 70,800 to RM 101,800. Early adopters can reserve the limited-edition model, which will be delivered starting June 26th, priced at RM 599. Larger quantities are expected to start arriving in August.

Based on the Linglong Dragon Platform, the Hongtian S800 boasts an advanced powertrain, incorporating a 800V system paired with a 6C electric battery pack. The vehicle features multiple cutting-edge technologies, including the HUAWEI ADS 4 driver assistance system, a host of sensors totaling 36 units, and features like intelligent adaptive headlights.

The exterior design adopts a new language of symmetry and horizontality while also becoming an integral part of Hongtian's family design characteristics. Key elements include intelligent interactive car lights, high-tech vehicle controls, smart illumination technology, automatic steering directions, and projection technologies to provide a comprehensive driving experience.

The rear view is dominated by an 8-meter (260-foot-long) LED taillight that gives the impression of floating within space. Side profile features 'big buns' (also known as "moon doughnuts") style wheels with variants ranging from 20-inch size only; this represents advancements in wheel design.

Inside, guests find a spacious interior with up to five available interior color options and an expansive front seats that offer enhanced visibility through advanced vision tech. The rear seat section utilizes innovative 'breakthrough' giant monolithic walls of dividers providing the comfort for the back passengers. All seats utilize support systems that enable utmost luxury levels inside.

The vehicle also boasts smart entrance doors equipped with technologies including, millimeter-wave radar and solid-state image-sensing technology to provide advanced obstacle detection.

Mechanically, Hongtian S800 vehicles is available as both standard electric and plug-in hybrid models with options of the 65kWh battery pack as per some other data being shown at a previous event.
