East Wind Automobile Reports Record-Passing Sales Figures for October 2024

China's largest automobile manufacturer, East Wind Automobile, has announced its sales figures for the first ten months of 2024. The company recorded total vehicle sales of over 2 million units during this period, with hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales reaching a record high of 700,000 units.

This represents an impressive year-on-year growth rate of 82.3% compared to the same period in 2023. The increase is attributed to growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly transportation options.

Furthermore, East Wind Automobile's self-branded vehicles have achieved remarkable sales figures, with a total of 1.11 million units sold during the first ten months of 2024. This represents a year-on-year growth rate of 40.2%.

In addition to domestic sales, East Wind Automobile also reported its vehicle export sales for the period, totaling 20.2 million units, an increase of 12.2% compared to the same period in 2023.
