Hong Kong Auto Show: Guangqi Group Unveils "Tech for Guangqi" Brand Ambition, Opening Pre-Booking for Multirotor Flying Cars
Guangqi Group will make a significant presence at the 2025 Hong Kong Auto Show with its cutting-edge technology exhibition. From roads to skies, multiple facets of traveling in the future are showcased.
The first mass-production multirotor flying car under Guangqi Group's brands made its global debut on the Hong Kong Auto Show stage and is now open for pre-order. The arrival of AION UT also marks its maiden appearance in Hong Kong, with plans to go into sales by the end of this year.
Currently, various models are available on the market including the AION Y PLUS, HYPTEC HT, AION ES, AION V, CHANGHAI E9. Furthermore, Guangqi GOVY AirCab has opened for pre-order with a price ranging from CNY 1.69 million. Featuring a high-density cylindrical battery and supporting super-fast charging capabilities in under 15 minutes for full charge to provide the perfect travel experience.
The key features of GOVY AirCab include 5G network connectivity, AI assistant system, fragrance selection, temperature adjustment, music options and advanced safety measures such as redundant flight control guidance systems, in-system navigation and remote cloud surveillance. Currently undergoing airworthiness certification with plans to initiate ground-running trials by end-2025 and obtain approval for mass production in 2026.
AION UT has made its Hong Kong debut today, maintaining its overall design with the adoption of right-hand steering layout setup. The Guangqi Group will employ a plug-and-play hybrid technology framework suitable for Asian markets including the utilization of single-polar vehicle (SPV) which replaces dual-V battery with single-volt motor powertrain at lower cost.
Since entering Hong Kong's market in 2024, Guangqi has firmly set up its own brand stores and exhibition branches. As of now, 1 flagship store, 7 display showrooms, 2 maintenance services centers across the region have already opened following the market entrance.
Additionally, a new tech innovation platform created by Guangqi will unveil "智能驾驶" passenger van with Prijiao automotive bringing innovative products into reality.
