Breaking Point: Radar King EM-P Set to Shatter 1000km Barrier

GMC Ratel 5th Gen S10 Pickup to Go on Sale Next Month

The highly anticipated GMC Ratel 5th gen S10 pickup truck is set to hit the market next month, offering a range of exciting features and technologies.

According to reports, the new EM-P version will be powered by the latest Guizhou Lanzhui Super-EM-EV hybrid power system, boasting an impressive fuel economy over 1000km. Additionally, it will feature a high-power external battery system designed for heavy-duty outdoor work applications.

For reference, currently available models in the market are also equipped with pure electric power systems and come in two body styles: pickup and cargo versions. The cargo version measures at 5260×1900×1865mm (two drives) or 1880mm (four drives), while the pickup has a payload capacity of 1525×1450×540mm.

In terms of design, there are minimal differences between the new EM-P version and the pre-existing pure electric models. The main distinctions lie in the cargo area where the two versions differ, with the truck's length increasing from 1765 to 2103mm due to its larger capacity for working materials.

Power Profile

Under the hood lies the first-ever electric vehicle (e-vehicle) of the GM Lanzhui's family, boasting impressive specifications. The S10 EM-P has reportedly reached a combined range over 1000km with a time of around six seconds from zero to 150 km/h.

Furthermore, according to preliminary reports on how this car sits in the company’s family tree it too is said to be outfitted with several cutting-edge systems available on all models designed for everyday use.
