Smallpeng L6 and G9 Hit the Market with Latest Updates
Shenzhen, China - March 14 -- Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Smallpeng Motors has announced the latest models of its flagship vehicles, the L6 and G9.
According to an official statement from Smallpeng, the 2025 model year cars have seen improvements across both external design and interior features. The range of available colors has also expanded to include six options, with two new shades; "star-sky purple" and "cloud-berry blue". Additional colors are star-lux grey, star-cloud white, dark-night black, moonlight silver, and fog-green.
The exterior dimensions of the L6 measure 4,758 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1650mm in height, while the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) falls at 3,900 kg. On the other hand, the G9 measures 4,891 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, with a height of 1,670 mm, GVW falling at 3,998 kg.
One major change implemented across both models is their use of advanced Smart Driving and Active Safety systems.
Both L6 and G9 models boast an impressive array of features. For the L6, these include four drive modes: snow mode, slippery road mode, driving in heavy rain, and low-speed maneuvering mode, with support for the latest Wi-Fi 6.0 connectivity system as well.
Similarly, for the G9 model that includes various smart safety features such as automatic emergency braking, automatic lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, intelligent parking assist, active blind spot monitoring, turn signal monitoring, lane departure warning and alertness level indicators.
In terms of powertrain, the L6 is equipped with a more efficient 800V platform from Wuhan Shengda Auto Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. It is propelled by an all-wheel-drive system featuring electric motor type TZ230XY01F30B. Both G6 and G9 models use high-efficiency motors to reach a maximum output of 218 kW.
Moreover, these vehicles are bundled with the S5 advanced battery package integrated into their latest high-pressure charging technologies for improved energy efficiency.
The performance metrics boast remarkable capabilities, such as a driving range estimated at 725 km using this advanced battery system, with some impressive power figures.
