Chery Teases New Lagenda FREE Model

Based on official renderings, the new Lagenda FREE is expected to feature Huawei's most advanced driver assistance system and possibly even an "H-Motion" interior.

The front face of the vehicle boasts a comprehensive redesign, with car lights and the mid-grid receiving a revamped treatment. The larger front headlights give way to an updated design aesthetic. The middle net has been given new glowing embellishments. The traditional overall look is maintained while maintaining its slender profile.

Replacing previous multi-face designs around the front package, the new Lagenda FREE adheres to a classic style profile. It features laser-assisted radar on top, which remains under the hood. Side-view lines continue their energetic motion path, and rear lights have undergone an upgrade with what appears to be continued beam-style execution.

The vehicle's powertrain sources draw inspiration from its existing siblings, featuring a 1.5T supercharger set up in different configurations for both the singular electric motor unit as well as double configurations offering greater potential - specifically 200kW and 360kW outputs respectively. Both are expected to combine with CLTC capabilities that give off approximately 318km and 259km range during pure-electric driving while providing fuel efficiencies of 6.19L/100Km on WLTC testing under certain conditions.

As development progresses, the new Lagenda will likely be officially unveiled in various parts of Asia or other globally diverse market segments to further expand on its potential capabilities and adaptiveness.
