Chinese Automobile Giant GAC Achieves First ISO/PAS 8800 Certification, Demonstrates Global Leadership in Autonomous Vehicle Safety
GAC, a leading Chinese automaker, has successfully obtained the first ISO/PAS 8800 certification from Europe, marking a significant milestone in its pursuit of autonomous vehicle safety. This achievement not only signifies GAC's dominance in domestic rankings but also reinforces its global commitment to advanced technology.
The certification, awarded by the European Accreditation Body GSGS and authorized by EuroDAkkS, recognizes GAC's cutting-edge full-domain safety system as a global standard-setter. This endorsement underscores the company's focus on integrating the latest advancements in artificial intelligence into its automotive products.
GAC Car's Safety Technology Patent Ranking List has also been released, with the company ranking at the top with 1,562 security patents published. GAC had previously secured certification under two prominent standards - ISO 26262 and ANAB, as well as the U.S., and received certifications from ANAB.
