TANK 300: The Latest Update on the Upcoming Compact SUV
Design and Interiors
The highly anticipated compact SUV, TANK 300, has been unveiled, featuring a range of updates designed to enhance its fresh appeal. According to insiders, the vehicle is set to hit showrooms in early March.
Inside, the TANK 300 boasts two new features: a double spoke multifunction steering wheel and an upgraded floating large touchscreen display with adjustable suspension. The dashboard layout has also undergone some changes.
The interior now comes with a range of physical controls and buttons, including a high-speed/off-speed four-wheel drive controller and an adaptive locking release mechanism.
Exterior Design
The TANK 300 will continue to use its existing body style inspired by retro designs, featuring rounded headlamps paired with LED daytime running lights and distinctive trim on the front air vent. Measurements show that the vehicle is slightly lower than before, while maintaining a maximum ground clearance of 700mm.
Performance
Insiders indicate that powertrain specifications remain unchanged for now. The gasoline-powered model will run on a 2.0T turbocharged inline-4 engine producing 227 horsepower (167 kW) with peak torque at 387 Nm, corresponding to fuel efficiency values of up to 105 km under WLTC standards.
For the diesel variant, it is reported that the TANK 300 Hi4-T hybrid will be equipped with a 2.4T turbocharged inline-4 engine, yielding a maximum power output of 186 horsepower (137 kW) coupled with over 750 Nm of torque and electric strength on the hybrid side being 300kW.
