China's LEVC Unveils the Flagship Longan Encephalon, a Luxury Vehicle with Advanced Technology and Design

Beijing, April 14 — Chinese automotive manufacturer Longan has confirmed that its flagship model, the Longan Encephalon, has officially breached the 10,000 unit milestone in cumulative sales since its launch. The vehicle secured its third consecutive top-selling spot among comparable models for an 18-consecutive-month period.

In addition to the sales figures, data revealed a significant increase in Longan's overall sales performance and new energy division revenue during the month of March. Total sales reached 268,052 vehicles, representing a 3.5% year-over-year growth. Meanwhile, new energy division sales surged by 62%, reaching 87,036 units.

The latest sales milestone marks a significant achievement for Longan's luxury vehicle segment. The Encephalon is now available with 10 different configurations and priced between CNY 11.99 million and CNY 15.99 million (USD 1.73- USD 2.34 million).

Longan Encephalon's distinct design aesthetic is characterized by a combination of family features, including enclosure-style front grille and crested headlamps that provide an aerodynamic profile while enhancing visibility. Rear end styling emphasizes simplicity, with incorporated tail lights and a delicately shaped 'wing-like' spoiler.

Dimension-wise, the vehicle measures 4905mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1480mm in height, spanning a wheelbase of 2900mm—categorizing it as a mid-size luxury sedan. The interior features premium materials such as leather upholstery and woodwork accents, complemented by ring-style ambient lighting.

For the top-of-the-range Longan Encephalon 625 Intelligent Luxury type featuring an expansive 15.4-inch HUAWEI HiCar display offering Carlink smartphone integration. Its performance boasts high-end power options including an enhanced version of the Blue Eagle 1.5L special engine and high-performance all-electric drives designed to achieve extended ranges, with CLTC pure electric capabilities available for up to 625 kilometers among other configurations.
