BYD Launches OTA Upgrade for Han 2025 Model with emphasis on Autonomous Driving System

BYD has begun its Over-the-Air (OTA) upgrade for the new 2025 model of theHan, focusing primarily on enhancing the autonomous driving system. The upgraded vehicles include the BYD HanDM-i 125KM and EV 701KM models.

The city's navigation system, known as CNOA Nationwide Open Up, will be available nationwide with a full range deployment, allowing users to access no-map driving for all vehicles carrying the "The Eye of Gods B" high-level intelligent driving version (DiPilot 300). This upgrade is ideal for drivers who need assistance with both smart functions and traditional navigation in urban areas.

Among the new features implemented as part of this OTA update are:

  • Remote parking services.
  • Bluetooth car key, remote start/driver assist, and hands-free control functionalities granted to users.
  • Harmonized transportation solutions.
  • Recommendations for frequently used settings and user convenience options.
  • Special attentions from smart passenger vehicles.
  • Day/night glare adjustments, enabling better driving conditions at dusk or dawn.
  • An intuitive system displaying driving status and vehicle position in real time.
  • Enhanced route and path guidance through all possible scenes and 360-degrees scanning of circular roads for courtesy maneuvers.
  • Vehicle scene rendering on both public roads and open avenues during daylight hours.
