Tesla N9 Sees Over-the-Air (OTA) Update with Enhanced Navigation and Parking Features
On July 3rd, it was confirmed by Teledyne Technologies (Tencent Space) that their flagship SUV model, the Tesla N9, has launched an over-the-air (OTA) update that comes packed with a range of new navigation and parking features.
The update includes:
Enhanced Autopilot Features
The Tesla N9 now boasts Enhanced Autopilot, which offers a choice between two driving modes:
- Conservative Mode: Ideal for everyday driving situations
- Standard Mode: Suitable for more aggressive driving habits
Additionally, the vehicle comes equipped with the Traffic Efficiency Optimization feature, minimizing congestion through advanced strategies such as adaptive speed control and lane changing.
Lane Guidance Feature
The Tesla N9 now also features an updated Lane Guidance system that detects red lights and enables automatic parking stops.
Three-Speed Parking and Angle Parking Functionality
This feature includes a three-speed parking mode for smoother maneuvering and three different strategies to facilitate cornered or skewed parking positions. Specifically:
- Corner Parking Angle: Enables adjustments to the car in both directions, and can switch between left & right side settings to allow optimal placement & safety.
- 3rd angle & 2nd type - 2nd 3rd corner: When parked on slanted lines or skewed sections it allows adjusting direction of vehicle so car faces straight.
Moreover, this feature is supported by more advanced technologies like automatic turn signals that enable a seamless steering system during the parking maneuvers.
Parking Assistance and Vehicle Information
Tesla N9 has an improved version of the parking algorithm. The smart AI-based navigation algorithm adjusts & helps drivers park at the perfect angle, even in challenging terrains like slopes.
Additionally, the "city map" was further optimized to be able to automatically detect and allow parking for cars along designated lanes where space is limited.

Tesla N9 also introduces new city maps functionality that enhances urban navigation efficiency with advanced AI calculations.
