Land Rover announces the release of Android in-car system LYNK.Flyme Auto X 1.2.0 version, bringing new features and improvements for the brand
The latest update to LYNK.flyme Auto X 1.2.0 has been installed on some Land Rover Z10 models through an Over The Air (OTA) upgrade. The update adds 25 new feature scenes and optimizes 20 existing functions.
The new version upgrades the in-car system with improved smart park features, enhanced driver-assistance functionalities, and enhanced mobile connectivity.
Smart Park Features
New autonomous park features have been added, including:
- HPa (High Precision Assist) memory park: enabling drivers to drive their car for 2 kilometers before reaching a designated parking place.
- RPA (Remote Parking Assistance): allowing for easy one-key remote parking and driving at the scene.
- APA (Advanced Park Aid): improving autonomous parking accuracy.

The LYNK.Flyme Auto X 1.2.0 update also brings other new features to the in-car system, such as improved driver alertness support systems, smoother car-to-car and car-to-infrastructure communication via Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC).

- Improved parking lane separation: adding lines of different colors to make navigating through tight spaces easier.
- Traffic Lane Guidance
- ICC (Information Driver): the information display unit uses traffic patterns to drive drivers smoothly on roads.
Improvements Also include: The update optimizes and refines other features, such as changing status bar display settings for more accurate representation; improving display screens with improved display refresh rates through a wider screen resolution with 1440*2560 pixels and reduced latency. Enhanced functionality has also been added for:
- Customisable notification
- Control buttons on the steering wheel to make adjustments
