NewBY: Chinese Car Manufacturer Reveals Travel Edition of 06 DM-i, Pricing Slated to Range from $12,000 to $15,000

A new travel edition of the popular car model, 06 DM-i, is reportedly set to hit the market on June 25th. Three configurations will be available, priced at 10.5 KRW, 11.5 KRW, and 12.5 KRW.

The 06 DM-i was first unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Fair, with official projections putting its price bracket at 12-15 KRW. The exact launch date is set for early July.

Design and Specifications

The front facade of the new travel edition has retained the established design language of the conventional 06 three-box model, while adopting a more compact and streamlined body.

Measurements for this iteration are notable; it measures 4,850mm in length, 1,890mm in width, and 1,505mm in height. Despite these adjustments, its wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,790mm, with an increased cargo capacity of 650 liters for the reconfiguration of the rear compartment.

Interior

As per tradition, interior elements will incorporate the customary family aesthetic. Notably present is a large floating screen serving center dash displays along with other notable design touches.

It's also been rumored that this model would be included some advanced safety features.

Vehicle Powertrain

This car utilizes BD Fifth Generation technology combined 1.5 V, to utilize electric power generation equipment. The overall performance shows the motor has the peak power of 200 KW of electricity and its torque to reach a maximum value of 315 Nm. During normal usage, an extension of driving range up to 150 km is also possible in pure battery state.
