Red Flag H9 PHEV to Launch in Second Half of 2025
A new version of the Red Flag H9 will be unveiled, boasting an electric and hybrid powertrain.
According to sources close to the exhibition, the H9 PHEV is set to debut in late 2025. The vehicle will be positioned as a mid-sized SUV, and will feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor for its powertrain system.
The design of the Red Flag H9 PHEV has been carried over from its petrol-powered counterpart, maintaining both its aerodynamic style and technological appeal. The front section of the vehicle will be equipped with arrow-shaped LED daytime running lights, further emphasizing its modern features. The grille is adorned with new-style chrome-dipped accent bars that appear sophisticated.
The side profile of the H9 PHEV has seen minimal changes from the petrol version, with a red stripe and new style wheel rims added onto it. In terms of rear styling, both headlights and brake lamps maintain classic features but are connected by additional embossed chrome strips. The dimensions for the vehicle will be similar to its petrol predecessor.
The powertrain is expected to use the same 2.0-litre capacity but with a hybrid drivetrain system, though the exact parameters have not been released yet. Besides that, the car will come fitted with advanced components such as a dynamic suspension system and variable steering ratios along with zero-gravity seats which have sprung-loaded functions.
Future features of the vehicle are the integration with the company’s highest-end driver assistance system and its ability to achieve the L3 (conditional) level of autonomous driving.
