LeodaL80 L80: The Suv You've Been Waiting For?

Le Duan SUV: Leostream to Unveil Second SUV Model in H2 2023

A series of allegedly leaked images of the second generation from the same manufacturer of the popular L60 SUV model has surfaced on domestic social media platforms, generating excitement among enthusiasts. According to earlier announcements made by the company, they plan to launch a new model every year and are set to unveil a mid-size SUV with 6-7 seats.

The vehicle in question is expected to be called the L80 and could enter production in the third quarter of this year.

While dressed in extensive camouflage clothing, the images reveal some hints about the design. For example, it appears to employ a similar front lamp arrangement as its predecessor, the L60. The car also lacks adaptive LED lighting and is likely to feature a single Orin X pre-processing module (topping 254 kW) combined with ONVO's Smart Driving system.

When looking at the side profile of the vehicle, we can expect a subtle door handle that covers a mechanical locking button for optimal aerodynamic performance.

The rear end seems unlikely but plausible given it features LED lights as a full unit on top of the spare tire area, coupled with Leostream 80’s L60 SUV model's dimensions.

The Le Duan SUV will retain its NT3.0 platform from Geely and may offer either single or dual electric motors in terms of configuration. When talking about the battery pack in this vehicle, it appears the same power batteries as the previous L60 SUV: both 60kW-Hour and 85kWh models available for select markets.

Further releases will be tracked in the coming days.
