Volvo Unveils the Cross-Country Variant of the EX30, Debuting on February 10th
On February 10th, Volvo will officially unveil its latest cross-country variant, the EX30 Cross Country. This compact SUV version comes with additional off-road features and is set to enter the domestic market in early 2025.
The upgrades in this new model include an increased ground clearance, a protective plastic cover layer for added defensiveness, matte-black 19-inch wheels along with revamped front bumpers sporting a sleek dark design. In contrast to its standard counterpart, additional styling cues hint at a wider and more adventurous footprint while retaining the overall visual appeal.
Moving on to the interior, aside from maintaining continuity in other aspects, it comes loaded with the iconic Thor's Hammer LED light combination that contributes to its contemporary look and feel. The new variant brings enhanced design elements including silver accents for added finesse.
The EX30 Cross Country has been given a unique touch-up by Volvo through various styling tweaks to elevate cross-country travel adventures. As far as key design features go, improved ground clearance enhances traversability capabilities while matte-black wheel finishes coupled with high-grade off-road tires set the new model up in line with rugged terrain driving standards.
Power-wise, it is most likely that this version will ride on a dual electric motor setup equipped with four-wheel drive capabilities. As per data available from its standard counterpart, it would result in maximum power of 315 kW and peak torque of 543 Nm with an acceleration clocked at 0-100 km/h within just 3.6 seconds to deliver an optimal performance.
