New Chevrolet E5 Reveals Enhanced Interior and Exterior Design
Shanghai, China - General Motors' Chinese partner, SAIC Motor, has unveiled the latest iteration of the Chevrolet E5 sedan, boasting 47 upgrades and enhancements across various aspects. The new model is set to launch in the near future.
The interior design remains largely faithful to its predecessors, with a focus on refining details. A prominent feature of this redesign includes a 30-inch all-in-one 6K screen paired with V5.0 system and an updated high-end map software by Guangdong. Furthermore, the rear seats have been adjusted to an angle of 27 degrees and will be fitted with Bose audio systems for improved comfort levels.
The vehicle’s exterior has undergone an entirely new design language under the name PURE Design, replete with closed mesh front grille accompanied with split headlights atop and black accent strips at the base. A set of sleek, angular tail lights and a sophisticated tri-lamp brake setup further embellishes its dynamic appearance.
Notably, a variety of metal milled aluminum trim pieces adorn the vehicle's body, highlighting an appreciation for premium quality.
Compared to its preceding model in terms of powertrain, this Chevrolet E5 has been equipped with a new electric platform developed by AWD and continues using electrical power delivery. The top speed of the car reaches up to 180km/h (112 mph), coupled with over 600 kilometers (373 miles) of endurance on an all-electric run. In contrast, its earlier iteration came complete with both 65kWh and a 68.4 kWh battery module which allowed for approximately 515-545 kilometers (319-339 miles).
