Maserati Compact MPV Spotted in China, Reveals Key Details About New Vehicle

A series of classified photos of the new five-star red flag (Wuyinda) compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) have surfaced on WeChat social media, revealing key details about the upcoming model.

According to insiders, the new Wuyinda MPV is expected to feature a similar body size and layout to its parent model, the Wuyinda KEJi. The interior will be configured with seven seats, while powertrain options may include a fifth-generation Five-Element Plug-In Hybrid System.

The exterior design of the vehicle features improved aerodynamic efficiency, complete with new LED headlights and fog lights as well as wheels that minimize wind resistance as well as multiple-grooved alloy wheel finishes. The MPV's rear segment includes large-size spoilers as well as a distinctively shaped round tail-light assembly giving it a distinctive “J”-shaped appearance.
