MIIT to Unveil First SUV, Xiaomi YU7, Alongside Multiple New Products on June 26
Beijing, China - Renowned entrepreneur and CEO of Xiaomi Corporation, Lei Jun, has announced on his personal social media platform that the company will hold an exclusive launch event for its first-ever SUV model, Xiaomi YU7, Scheduled for June 26th at 7 pm.
During this momentous occasion, in addition to unveiling the highly-anticipated YU7, MiIT plans to showcase several other new products, including a new series of foldable smartphones, a flagship tablet powered by Ox1 processor, and one innovative personal intelligent device targeting the next generation of consumers. Lei Jun hinted at the diversity of upcoming launches, urging fans to prepare in advance.
The star of the show is certainly Xiaomi YU7 - an all-new SUV designed with distinctive sloping rooflines accentuated by sleek design cues. One unique characteristic setting it apart is the ventilated air outlet on its front big lights, harmoniously integrated into both front and rear hoods.
In terms of dimensions, measurements reveal that YU7 stretches 4999 x 1996mm in length, respectively, while featuring a height of 1,608mm (1600). With an axle distance spanning over 3000mm, it positions itself firmly as a mid-size electric SUV, boasting wind resistance with a coefficient reaching 0.245.
Notable additions to YU7's customization features include the integration of carbon fiber components - including side mirrors and roof diffusers for added aerodynamics enhancements.
Beyond its unique design characteristics, inside, Xiaomi aims to surprise once more with the incorporation of MIUI's signature ‘heaven’ Sky Display – a whopping one meter long screen integrating seamlessly into the bottom area of front windshields. Besides this innovative display feature, the new model comes with Mi’s HAD auxiliary driving system boasting comprehensive features including seamless navigation across all locations.
YU7 will be offered in both single electric motor and dual motor versions, each boasting unique offerings.

- Maximum speed: 253 km/h and a acceleration that gets you up and running to 100 km in just 3.23 seconds.
- Battery: Ningde Times Three Battery (CLTC-range: 770km/760km).
Last but not least, the car comes with continuously variable air-cushioned shock absorbers with Double-Chamber Closures.
This highly-awaited launch is scheduled for June 26th at 7 pm; as it’s set to shake up entire market.
