KIA Sets Up Launch of its New 2026 Mate Car Model

The new 2026 KIA Mate car model was officially launched on a certain date, marking the latest addition to Kia's lineup.

Four variants of the new KIA Mate are available for customers to choose from. Prices range between CNY5,990 and CNY7,590 making it an affordable option. The all-electric KIA Mate is designed in the form of 5-seat vehicles with five doors.

The design of the Kia Mate has been carried forward from its predecessors. It boasts a characteristic nose that accentuates sharpness. In dimensions measuring 3720mm length, 1700mm width and 1608mm height - adding 360mm to both the length and distance axis compared to KIA's T-Mate; the rear end holds onto all the excitement with beautifully arranged headlights.

In line with expectations, Kia Mate has been carried on from Kia T-Mate in terms of interior. It boasts freshened-up color schemes that make it look young. The center control panel is characterized by youthful looks & bold designs. With its digital controls being an addition to instrument cluster and overhead screen; the car features a manual air conditioner button as well while maintaining full view and smart interconnects with smartphones.

Furthermore, KIA Mate comes equipped with electronic window switchers. Its 5-door all-seat car has become more practical for urban use.

When it comes to the power source of this car model - Kia Mate will make its mark in electric vehicles with a front single-motor unit where maximum capacity is set at above 40 kilowatts.

For those who want to get their hands on Kia's entry-level variant, they can count on having 28 kWh rechargeable batteries which provides an astonishing range of over three hundred kilometre range of electric travel. In contrast - high-end models benefit from bigger battery and have 410km pure travel range at hand.
