The official unveiling of the all-new Chery Wind Cloud A9L has revealed a flagship product that embodies the latest electric vehicle (EV) innovations. Scheduled to go on sale on June 25th, the Wind Cloud A9L boasts several upgraded features in comparison to its sibling model, the Wind Cloud A8L.

Design and Dimensions

Measuring 5018 x 1965 x 1500mm in length, width, and height respectively, the Wind Cloud A9L is positioned as a mid-size sedan. Its exterior design incorporates stronger new energy characteristics compared to its predecessor. The front facades feature an enclosed grille with retractable air vents, retaining the functional airflow layout of the original model. High-beam LED headlights dominate the frontal area, supported by thin ducts for exhaust system management.

Its side profile sports a symmetrical arrangement of dual-exhaust tips on wheel wells and features specialized tire markings for enhanced aerodynamics along its 3000mm wheelbase.

An interior characterized by harmony in beige-brown color scheme is complemented by an energetic display of black-red accents, further accentuating its sporty spirit. The instrument cluster utilizes a circular, floating design for the dashboard display screen. Strategically aligned around the central console are a number of modern ambient light options to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

To accommodate varying requirements for passengers, seating capacities range from four (for optimal efficiency) down to full five-seat arrangements, with notable inroads into rear seat comfort: additional storage compartments or additional features designed specifically to meet passenger's needs.

Technology Advancements

One defining feature is its gear transmission mechanism, where an optimized gear shift configuration enables smoother transitions. Combining a 1.5-liter gasoline engine powered by an efficient CDM6.0 fuel injection system with parallel double motor and in-wheel motors creates a compact and agile set up.

A notable element to the Electric Vehicle features of A9l is the substantial battery capacity (磷酸铁锂电池 capacity), enabling comprehensive driving capabilities such as full drive for approximately 260km without replenishment, charged in just under 15 minutes with a charging speed between thirty percent, seventy percent, and eighty percent.
