GAC Group Posts Strong Sales Growth in Q4 2024
GAC Group announced its sales figures for April, reporting a total of 21,155 vehicles sold in the month, representing an increase of 11.8% from the same period last year. For the first four months of the year, the company sold 78,707 vehicles, up 12.7% from the previous year.
The company also reported its production figures for April, with a total of 22,200 vehicles produced, representing a 6.9% increase from last year's April production. For the first four months of the year, GAC Group produced 77,900 vehicles, up 17.2% from the previous year.
In addition to its domestic sales, GAC Group reported exports for April, with 12,791 units shipped out, up 6.9% from last year's April numbers. Over the first four months of the year, the company shipped out a total of 43,129 vehicles, representing a 12.7% increase from the previous year.
Looking ahead to 2026, GAC Group plans to launch three new products and, depending on user demand, will offer pure electric versions of cars in various segments including tractors and SUVs.
In support of its Chinese market, GAC Group is strengthening its research and development capabilities. The company has partnered with several research institutions, including the Modern Auto Research Institute, the China First Rearview Mirror Company, and other cutting-edge technology centers. GAC plans to develop smart in-car features that meet consumer demands.
GAC Group's export-focused brand lineup for Q4 2024 includes EV5, Tiger Xiaov (Prestige), Syuetus (Atlas), K5, Sunray (Mazheng), Hua Chi (Hawk), among others. The company has established delivery networks in 85 countries around the world.
In April alone, GAC Group set a record-breaking export figure of $2.3 billion USD with models such as EV5, Tiger Xiaov (Prestige) and Syuetus (Atlas).
Export sales have contributed to GAC's rapid growth from the time it started exporting from 2018 - the company now has exported over 413,000 cars while raking out more than $962 million of export revenue.
