Geely Posts Record-Qualitative Sales Figures for April

Total Passenger Vehicle Deliveries Reach 234,112

Geely Automobile N.V. (0175.HK), the parent company of Geely Automobile, published its latest sales data on May 1st, revealing a significant increase in passenger vehicle deliveries last month.

According to Geely's latest reports, the total number of passenger vehicles sold in April reached 234,112 units, representing a year-over-year (YoY) growth of 53%. This marks the eighth consecutive month where monthly sales exceed 20,000 units. The new energy segment, comprising of Geely, Lechi, and Jilin brands, saw impressive gains, with deliveries reaching 125,563 units, up by an additional 144% compared to last year.

Silverager Brand Achieves Record-Breaking Sales

Within the new energy segment, Silverager brand sales reached a staggering 96432 units in April, driven largely by its flagship model, Silverager E5. Moreover, the popular model Silverager Starship 7 EM-i was reported to have sold over 11,000 units during the month.

Upcoming Products and Technology Updates

During Shanghai Auto Show, Geely unveiled a new Silverager model called Starship – aiming to provide customers with more options as part of their choices for electric vehicles. Moreover, the highly awaited GEM-i is set to be launched in two colors only as the new year 2024 model is due soon.

Also during Shanghai auto show, Geely unveiled a full-size SUV called Silverager Warship which showcases advanced technologies like "Full-scape Full terrain All-energy".
